Mbarara Living Community Church (MLC)
At Mbarara Living Community Church (MLC), we exist to see lives transformed by the gospel and released into the world with purpose. We are a mission-minded, gospel-centered community where people encounter Jesus personally, grow in their faith through sound teaching and discipleship, serve others with the love of Christ, and go into their homes, campuses, and nations as everyday missionaries. Rooted in truth, driven by love, and committed to the Great Commission — this is who we are.
At MLC, our values shape everything we do — from how we preach, to how we live, serve, and reach the world.

Be Part of What God Is Doing in Mbarara and Beyond
At MLC, we believe that every believer has a role to play in the body of Christ. Whether you’re gifted in teaching, hospitality, worship, logistics, or simply have a heart to serve — there’s a place for you here. Join us in loving our community, discipling the next generation, and reaching the nations with the gospel. Your time, talent, and presence can make an eternal difference.
Meet the leaders & elders of MLC Church
According to the Bible, the church should be led by qualified elders and assisted by qualified deacons (1 Timothy 3: 1-13; Titus 1:5-9). Elders are responsible for providing spiritual oversight and “shepherding the flock of God” (1 Peter 5:2-3), while Deacons serve the physical and practical needs of the church (Acts 6:1-15). At Mbarara Living Community Church, we are blessed to have such qualified leaders and more, provided by God.

What God is doing through MLC
“Before I came to BLAST, I felt disconnected from both God and people. I was searching for meaning but didn’t know where to start. That first night around the fire, I heard the gospel clearly for the first time. It wasn’t just a Bible study — it felt like home. Now I’m growing in my faith and helping others do the same.”
